Title：Coalitional Knowing How via Multi-step Plans

Abstract:

Current investigations on the logics of knowing how mainly involve two approaches: the planning approach, which is based on individual multi-step plans, and the coalition approach, which is based on coalitional one-step plans. Thus a natural extension of existing work is to combine these approaches and explore the notion of group knowing how based on multi-step planning. In this talk I will review two frameworks of knowing how, and then present a sound and weakly complete logical system that captures the interplay between distributed knowledge, one-step coalitional knowing how and multi-step coalitional knowing how. This is joint work with Yanjun Li and Yanjing Wang.
