About the speaker: Barteld Kooi is currently the professor on the special chair of Logic and Argumentation at the University of Groningen, and the vice dean of the faculty of philosophy. He is one of the leading researchers in the filed of epistemic logic. He has coauthored the well-known book Dynamic Epistemic Logic and coedited the Handbook of Epistemic Logic. Prof. Kooi received the Ammodo KNAW Award in 2015 for his contributions to philosophical logic.
